Plan a making session across time zones
A useful design review needs the right people, the right file, and an unambiguous meeting time. These are separate problems that benefit from being handled in order.
Choose a real date
Start with the Time Atlas meeting planner. Add the relevant locations and use the actual meeting date. The difference between two local clocks can change when daylight saving rules change, so a fixed UTC offset is a poor substitute for a location-based time zone.
Compare everyone's working hours
Inspect the proposed time in each participant's location. If no slot fits everyone, rotate the inconvenience between sessions instead of always assigning the earliest or latest slot to the same person. The planner helps compare choices; participants still decide what is acceptable.
Freeze the design being reviewed
In Form Atlas, identify the model, recipe revision, dimensions, material assumptions, and intended export. If people review different revisions, comments about a fold, tab, or fit can appear contradictory even when everyone is correct.
Use the application's sharing or export controls deliberately. A link to this hub does not share a private design. Inspect files and sharing visibility before sending a project to someone else.
Send a compact review brief
- The meeting date and location-based time zone.
- The exact recipe revision or exported file name.
- The decisions required: dimensions, layout, fit, or artwork.
- Any physical sample measurements, kept separate from calculated findings.
Close with a new revision
Record agreed changes, regenerate affected outputs, and review the resulting geometry. A discussion does not validate a physical construction. If dimensions, material, or production settings changed, make the appropriate new sample before fabrication.
